LIFETIME LIMITED WARRANTY

Handcraft Mattress Company (“HMC”) manufactures custom live-aboard Innerspring and foam mattresses designed specifically for the marine environment. The craftsmanship and quality of each HMC mattress matches that of the top home brands available today and allows HMC to offer the original purchaser a lifetime limited warranty against defects in workmanship or materials (other than the cover) from the purchase date, subject to the following conditions:

HMC, under its limited warranty, will repair or replace any mattress which is found defective as a result of manufacturing defects within the warranty period. In the event that the purchaser desires a new cover, there will be a charge for replacing the cover. HMC reserves the right to substitute materials or models of comparable quality and does not guarantee that the fabric of the replacement will match original materials or models.

If a defect occurs and is reported within one year of the purchase date, HMC will pay all shipping/transportation charges to and from its facility up to $300.00. Outside of the one year period, the original purchaser must pay all transportation charges to and from the HMC facility. Any claim under this warranty must be accompanied by the HMC part identification number located on the tag attached at the head (top) of the bed. To assist with the return process, please call HMC at (800) 241-241-7751. Upon request, HMC will send you instructions and a box to be used for shipping back your HMC mattress. Please follow the instructions for boxing the HMC mattress properly.

This warranty does not apply to (1) normal body depressions; (2) firmness preferences of product; (3) water stains; (4) burns; or (5) mildew due to excessive exposure to moisture. Warranty is non-transferable to new boat owner.

HMC SHALL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE NOR LIABLE FOR DAMAGES BASED ON INCONVENIENCE, LOSS OF USE OR ANY INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES WHICH RESULT THROUGH THE USE OF YOUR HMC MATTRESS.

This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may have other rights which vary from state to state. NO WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, ARE EXTENDED TO PERSONS WHO PURCHASE THE PRODUCT FROM THE ORIGINAL OR SUBSEQUENT PURCHASER (TRANSFER) AND ALL WARRANTIES TO SUCH PERSONS, INCLUDING THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OR FITNESS AND MERCHANTABILITY, ARE HEREBY EXCLUDED.

Mattresses are delivered by common freight carriers unless other arrangements are made in advance. Delivery time normally runs 7-10 business days. HMC ships mattresses prior to the scheduled delivery date and is not responsible for the actual delivery date due to unforeseen freight delays, supply chain issues, weather, etc.
