All orders start with a paper pattern that you or one of our HMC distributors can easily make on your boat. We have distributors in most parts of the country where you can try the different mattresses and choose the exact model bed you like. The person you speak with will be the person measuring and making patterns, that way HMC assures it can guarantee a proper fit. The distributor will write up the order with your bed’s custom measurements, finger space, bedding, pads, sheets (if desired) and submit directly to our HMC factory that is closest to your area. Our boat mattresses are usually finished in 2-3 weeks’ time, then shipped or delivered to you. If your boat is within 1-2 hours of either of our HMC factories, our technicians can be scheduled to deliver and install the mattress for you.

All boats – even production boats, can vary from boat to boat and year to year – so it’s important to allow enough finger space around edges of the keeper rails to be able to tuck in sheets and mattress pads on your bed. It is best to have a new pattern measured each time to ensure proper finger space and custom fit.

We have distributors worldwide who can measure your boat and also offer the opportunity to try each model out today!

Under normal conditions the padding and fabric keep condensation out of the inside of the mattress and springs, allowing a rust-free environment. The vinyl bottom keeps sweat and condensation from seeping into a mattress. If concerned, we can powder coat springs for an additional cost.

No, Latex does not support bacterial growth, therefore it won’t mold or mildew, which is one reason we extend the warranty.

No, you cannot feel the hinge-fold because our patented design keeps a layer of padding above it to hide the hinge line. Hinge can run Head to Toe, Side to Side, or even off Center, allowing access to storage space underneath the bed.
